FIDES Capital Partners, LLC ("FIDES") announces that is has served as the exclusive financial advisor in securing the institutional joint venture equity partner and senior debt financing for the acquisition of a $198.5 million portfolio of five Class A student housing properties. Greg Longoria the founder of FIDES said, "This deal was not straight-forward. We had three different sellers and five separate projects across the country that were all in various stages of development and lease-up. We represented a best-in-class sponsor with best-in-class product, so the financing sources were more than willing to roll-up their sleeves to structure around all the various property nuances." Mr. Longoria said his firm has closed over $600 million in student housing transactions since 2011, and is one of the most active financial advisors in the sector.
