FIDES Capital Partners, LLC ("FIDES") announced today that it has been engaged by VisionMaker Worldwide ("VisionMaker") to form a joint venture for the development and financing of a 60-acre, mixed-use project in Orlando, FL. View news article The project, tentatively named Galleria Orlando, is located adjacent to Walt Disney World and may ultimately include upscale apartments, both ultra-luxury and upper-upscale hospitality, branded "adultainment", a retail, dining and entertainment district, and a water park.
"Having previously worked with VisionMaker on a very large entertainment oriented transaction, we gained great insight into VisionMaker's ability to define and create one-of-a-kind entertainment venues." said Greg Longoria of FIDES. VisionMaker, founded in 2011 by former theme park executives from The Walt Disney Co. and Universal Studios, designs, develops and operates leisure destinations such as theme parks, water parks, urban entertainment centers and resorts on a global basis.
