FIDES Capital Partners, LLC ("FIDES") is pleased to announce that its Founding Principal, Greg Longoria, has been retained to serve in the capacity as the Chief Capital Officer for a best-in-class owner and developer of student housing in the United States. In this role, Mr. Longoria will be responsible for various debt, mezzanine and equity financing strategies related to the company's operating business and joint ventures. In addition, he will work with other members of the senior management team to grow the company's assets under management and set the strategic direction. "This is very exciting for me. I've know this company for quite some time, and this role is similar to the role I had at MuniMae, where I was responsible for MuniMae's $1 billion balance sheet and $2 billion investment management business. In addition, I structured our credit facilities, securitizations and term borrowings. This won't be as complicated as MuniMae, but it will be just as fun." said Greg Longoria.
